Lyn and Bob Christian have owned the property ‘Bungaroo’ for 25 years and established the trademark Thumbprint Wines. The vineyard has been extended to grow olives, cherries and pomegranates. The residence has been renovated to provide a Cellar Door, comercial kitchen and restaurant facilities. Outdoor spaces provide lovely views and picnic areas.
We are open 7 days for free tastings by appointment 10am-5pm. Bookings can include Luncheon Plates and Picnic Platters.
ThumbPrint Wines
In earlier days the vineyard grew grapes under contract to the wine group Orlando. In 2001 we decided to make our first wine. We contracted the wine making and it was a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon that tasted so good, we continued with the contract to make more wines!
By 2005 we had a good stock of both red and white wines and opened a Cellar Door. Since then we have been building a reputation of producing quality wines usually with some bottle age. Our specialty has become ‘the unusual!‘
